Our name is a marriage between the ancient adornment purposes of fine jewelry and the spiritual role it plays today. The word is taken from the Romanian language, and conjures notions of exoticism and mystique, yet with a modern twist—a concept that is echoed through each of our designs.

I am intrigued by the unexpected beauty that lies within imperfection. My journey as an artist has been shaped by these discoveries, like when an accidental paint splatter offers a new perspective on an otherwise ordinary painting. True art begins when the steady hand fails. Among all the creative paths I pursue, it’s the transformative effects of goldsmithing - of melting down a precious metal and rebuilding it into something completely new and unique, imperfections and all - that inspired me to create a brand that celebrates self-revelation and individuality.
